Sculpture unveiling ceremony
The Angel and the Dying Unknown, a bronze sculpture created by Greg Wyatt, is unveiled near the meditation garden at Dover Air Force Base, Del., July 22, 2013. The sculpture depicts a guardian angel holding and protecting a wounded soldier and serves as a quiet reflection on the sacrifices made by the nation’s fallen service members. It was donated by the Newington-Cropsey Foundation. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Melanie Bulow-Kelly/Released)
