Quilts of Valor label expresses appreciation for service of U.S. troops
Hundreds of individual quilters and quilting clubs from every region of the nation make Quilts of Valor. This label is on a quilt donated by the Tuesday Thimbles quilting club of Spokane, Wash., and is one of several such quilts reviewed by Angie Carr and Capt. Sandra Bannon of the Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations Center located at Dover A.F.B., Del., on June 12, 2009. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Benjamin Matwey)
