Fisher House Groundbreaking Ceremony

Kenneth Fisher, Fisher House Foundation chairman, tells those in attendance at the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Fisher House and meditation pavilion for the families of the fallen at Dover Air Force Base, Del., that this Fisher House is for the true heroes. The Honorable Michael B. Donley, secretary of the Air Force, Gen. Norton A. Schwartz, Air Force chief of staff, and Mr. Fisher presided over the groundbreaking ceremony May 1. The Dover Fisher House will serve only families of the fallen and is expected to be completed by late fall 2010. A portion of President Obama's Nobel Prize Award contribution to the Foundation will go toward the funding of this house. (U.S. Air Force photo/Roland Balik)
