Support gratitude

Tech. Sgt. Dan Hunt (center), 436th Medical Support Squadron accepts a Quilt of Valor from Col. Thomas C. Joyce, Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations commander, for his support of the mortuary mission. For four years Sergeant Hunt X-rayed the remains of more than 3,000 fallen servicemembers, trained incoming personnel who deployed in support of the mission and was actively involved in preparing for and providing training for a new CT scanner and X-ray room. Colonel Joyce thanked him for his support and reiterated the importance of the partnership between the mortuary and the 436th and 512th Airlift Wings. (U.S. Air Force photo/Christin Michaud)
