Service: United States Army Operation Enduring Freedom - Afghanistan Note: Other Fallen servicemembers may be included as part of this dignified transfer. News media coverage is subject to approval by the surviving designated family member. Additional information related to such approval will be provided via press release on www.defense.gov/releases/ once all secondary next of kin have been notified. We consider all returning servicemembers as "believed to be" until they can be confirmed through finger prints, dental records and/or DNA.
